On 30 April 2016, the Ottawa Valley Taekwon-Do School, along with Master Michel Demers, as the Master of ceremony, held the Warriors Cup 2016. Over 185 athletes of all ages and belt levels, from both Ontario and Quebec competed.
Since 2014, the Ottawa Valley Taekwon-Do, their instructors, students, families and volunteers have supported the Warriors Cup. 2016 was no different! As always, Mr. Luc Fleurant, IV Dan has received countless praise regarding the quality of friendly service from volunteers and students of the Ottawa Valley Taekwon-Do school.
Athletes compete in several disciplines, including board breaking and sparring. Our own, Caileb Bellerive, I Dan holds the Junior Boy Power Breaking record, after breaking 9 boards with a side piercing kick.
Congratulations to everyone who attended! We can’t wait to see everyone again next year.
